About The Company Herb’s Herbs, inc. (HHI) was both founded and established in 1989 by Mr. Herbert Moniz. Herbert invented a method of processing the Noni fruit (morinda citrifolia) into power and placing it into capsules.

Capsules eliminate the foul smell and taste, making the fruit more palatable
for consumption.

Herbert's invention worked and he was granted U.S. pharmaceutical patent #5,288,491 for his powered Noni to be used as a pharmaceutical product. He was the first to introduce and market the noni powder. Since then Herb's Herbs Inc., has become the leading manufacturer and supplier all over the world.

Herbert's Inspiration ...

Herbert Moniz was a license massage therapist in the early 80s. During this time Herbert’s wife, Lona Moniz, was diagnosed with breast cancer. While she underwent chemotherapy, Lona’s cousin reminded her of the indigenous Noni fruit that her family utilized for generations to boost immunity and overall health. Soon after, Lona acquired some of the Noni fruit.

Lona decided to eat the fruit and put her faith in God. She began taking 2 tablespoons of fresh pulp each day. During this time Herbert was amazed of how his wife could eat the Noni fruit with its foul smell and awful taste. As time passed Herbert noticed changes for the better that took place in Lona’s health. Inspired by her recovery, Herbert would soon make it his mission to introduce the wonder of Noni to the rest of the world

I tried different methods of dehydration of the Noni, but it did not come out right. I had all kinds of problems with temperatures: it would burn, or it would not dry. Years went by and I never gave up. One night while I was asleep, it came to me in a dream -figures and numbers to try for dehydration. I immediately got up and put it down on paper.
